
ABOUT LEILANI
Born in Sydney, Australia, Leilani was an active child and always surrounded by the Arts. She commenced her ballet training at the age of eight at a local ballet school and was accepted into Sydney College of Dance in 2016, under artistic directors Xanthe Geeves and Gregor Thieler.
Leilani was accepted into The Australian Ballet School’s International Training Program and was also a featured dancer in School Spectacular - a nationally televised annual event, with over 5,500 artists.

She completed her schooling at a Performing Arts-based high school, obtaining an ATAR above 97, whilst also managing her pre-professional dance training with Sydney College of Dance. Leilani received the highest band of marks for her High School Certificate Dance subject, along with two Callback nominations.
She was accepted into Sydney Ballet Theatre Youth Company and performed multiple lead classical roles including:

Principal role of Willy Wonka in Sydney Ballet Theatre Company’s production of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ (2018)

Principal role of Wendy in Sydney Ballet Theatre Company’s production of ‘Peter Pan’ (2017)

Principal role of Tinkerbell in Sydney Ballet Theatre Company’s production of ‘Peter Pan’ (2017)

Lead role of Clara in Dance North Academy’s production of ‘The Nutcracker’ (2016)
Leilani has also developed her Contemporary Dance training, working with principal artists from internationally renowned companies when they choreographed works for Sydney Ballet Theatre. These include:

In 2020, Leilani was accepted into the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and joined the Koninklijk Conservatorium Dance Ensemble. Her repertoire included:

For the 2021/22 season, Leilani danced with the Delattre Dance Company in Mainz, Germany. Here she performed works from acclaimed choreographers from Europe and abroad, including Stéphen Delattre, Jörg Mannes, Filipe Portugal and Can Arslan.
In 2022 Leilani joined the National Ballet of Egypt where she currently performs regularly, with ballets including:
